This is a site I decided to make on a whim in 2023 because my good friend star was making one! If you want to call me something in your head, you can call me soup (my go-to username for most games and also one of my favorite foods). You can expect to find a lot of halfway deranged ramblings on the media I consume and other stuff! I guess! As I write this, it's still a work in progress so it's something for all of us to figure out ♡♡
I didn't intend for this place to have the color palette is does, but I'm nothing if not a primary colors enjoyer so it just sort of ended up that way. Let my indulgence be known...The title, Unlucky Mansion, is based on a manhwa of the same name and it follows several young working adults living in a shared apartment dealing with the horrors of each other and adult life. I read it during a particularly stressful week and it clearly touched me in some way cause I still think about it. I really enjoy themes that explore the uneasiness that emanates from one's home (whether that is a physical house or the confines of your own mind/body/soul) and the future, but living with the cards you've been dealt anyways. This is also why this little place is decorated with panels from other stories that share these themes: including No Home ("You can go anywhere you want. You were just unlucky this time." what the hell!!! what the fuck!!!) and Dorohedero.
Anyways...I over-explain and repeat myself and use ellipses too much but! enjoy this extended show-and-tell! This site will be mobile-friendly... one day. I do care about accessibility I promise...
